Vicki Lynn Markland

Ms. Vicki Lynn Markland, age 71, of Johnson City, TN, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019. Ms. Markland was a native of Elizabethton, TN. She had lived in Johnson City most of her life. Vicki was the daughter of the late George Edward Markland and Wanda Mae Clark Markland. She was a Christian and a member of First Christian Church, Johnson City, TN. Vicki was retired from Citi, Gray, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ricky Markland and Randy Markland. Those left to cherish her memory include a brother, Mark Markland and his wife Angie, of Elizabethton; a niece, Mallory Howell and her husband, Matt; two great nephews, Jackson and Walker Howell, all of Johnson City; an aunt Betty Chambers, of Elizabethton; several cousins also survive. A special thanks to her friends and church family for all the support shown to her during her illness. Funeral services for Ms. Vicki Lynn Markland will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Mr. Donald Mushayamvnda, Minister, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 – 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the Highland Cemetery, Elizabethton.
