Mrs. Wilma (Pidge) Arnold, 101, 434 Tollett Street, Hampton, TN died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Middle River, MD. A native of Johnson County, TN she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wilburn and Susan Caroline Ward. Mrs. Arnold had worked as a Nurses’ Aide. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Raymond Arnold in 1989, a daughter, Bessie Marie Roark, a son-in-law, James Norman Roark, three sisters, Eliza Pauline Stout, Beulah Victoria Stout and Emma Grace Mast; three brothers, Marshall Woodrow Ward, Herman Nathanial Ward and Robert Frank Ward and a half-sister, Peggy Cress. Survivors include a daughter, Alma Geraldine Kemp and husband Kale and a son, Bobby Mack Arnold and wife Kathleen Grace; grandchildren, Michael Kale Kemp, Teresa Nidiffer, Tonya Weaver, Lisa Meadows, Wanda Bengston, Kimberly Hughes, Angela Bray, Bobby Allen Arnold and Kristy Kemp-Szymanowski; great-grandchildren, Michael Kemp Jr., David Kemp Johnathan Kemp, Clayton Hughes, Marshall Hughes, Josey Walter Weaver, Kayla Ripple, Brandon Arnold, Ashlee Arnold, Jacob Dress, Natalie Bray, Noah Hughes, Grace Hughes, Emma Szymanowski and John Kale Szymanowski; great-great-grandchildren, Mason Kemp, McKenzie Kemp, Elise Kemp and Anna Hughes; a sister, Ruth Pearl Dowell and half-sisters and half-brothers, Willie Mae, Jena Lee, Alley, Tom and Earl Ward.            Funeral service for Mrs. Wilma (Pidge) Arnold will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 2, 2010 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Presnell officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.             The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, August 1, 2010 in Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home.
