William Edward Miller, Sr., age 75, of Hampton, TN passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. He was born in Elizabethton to the late Albert Peters and Maude Roberts Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gurney Miller, Bill Miller, Junior Miller and James Miller; a sister, Melba Davis; three aunts, Cassia, Merde and Emma and an uncle, Lawton. William was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Desert Storm and Vietnam Era. He proudly served his country for 21 years. William enjoyed fishing, camping, his dogs, country music and gardening. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Senobia Castillo Miller, of the home; sons, William Miller, Jr., of Hampton and Kevin Miller, of Texas; two daughters, Onna Miller, of Missouri and Olivia Miller Crossman, of Nashville, TN; grandchild, Cora Crossman; favorite nephew, Jason McKinney; sister-in-law, Alice Miller and several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service and committal for William will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded at the graveside service. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family would like to give a special thanks to Jared Abel and the Veterans Administration Staff for all their loving care given to William during this difficult time.
