William A. Haws

William Alvin Haws, age 36, of Carter County, Tennessee went home to be with his Lord and those who passed before him. William was born in Washington County, Tennessee to the late Billy Hank Haws and Martha Ramsey-Haws. William was a loving father, caring son and a friend to all who never met a stranger. His most lengthy employment was with Tri-Cities Custom and Marble as a laborer for a total of five years. William enjoyed his time with his friends, cherished his time with his son, Dakota, and liked to spend his spare time working on and remodeling his home. In addition to his father, William was preceded in passing by his maternal and paternal grandparent; son, Devon Haws; brother, Travis Lee Haws and uncle, Charles Ramsey.William leaves behind many who loved him. Left to cherish his memory are his son; Dakota Hicks; mother, Martha Haws; sisters, Linda Lee Lowe and Billie Jo Haws (Joe Condra); two special uncles, Lenny Ramsey and Bobby Ramsey (Lisa); Girlfriend, Sheri Hicks and several additional uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins also remain. The Family would like to express a special thank you to Carter County EMS and the Carter County Coroner for their services provided. At this time the family will be scheduling a memorial service to honor the life of William Alvin haws at a later date due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Harmony Freewill Baptist Church 6405 Gap Creek Rd.
