Vicky Ann Daugherty

Victoria “Vicky” Ann Daugherty, age 63, of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 in the Johnson City Medical Center, after a long hard fight with her illness. Vicky was born in Michigan to the late Charles Brown Garland and Helen Virginia Oliver Garland. Vicky worked for Dr. Scott Caudill in Elizabethton and also had worked in the Psychiatry division as a medical assistant. She enjoyed reading Steven King novels, painting and drawing.Those left to cherish her wonderful memories include her husband of thirty years, Jerry Daugherty, of the home; her children, Johnny Byers, Jr., of Elizabethton, Sidney Byers, of Roan Mountain, and Rebecca Byers, of Florida; her step daughter, Jennifer Daugherty; a special granddaughter, Harper Smith, who was the light of her life; a sister, Penny Garland, of Johnson City; and a brother, Charles Leroy Garland, of Piney Flats. Several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren also survive.Read Obituary
