Vicki Russell

Vicki Russell, age 66, of Elizabethton passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 following a brief illness. She was born August 11, 1953 in Elizabethton and is the daughter of Betty Whitson Maupin of Elizabethton and the late Ralph Whitson. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, James Maupin. Vicki had worked at Levi Strauss and retired from Broad Street Hair Design as a beautician. She had a sense of humor until the very end and anyone that met her, loved her. Vicki was a kind soul.In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Christy Cable Bracken and husband Brian; a grandson, Grant White; her sisters, Joan Fair and partner Bernadette Simonetti, Debra Reece and husband Dwight and Patty Pierce; her special life-long friend, Glenna Clark and the love of her life and partner for over twenty years, Glenn McQueen. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.A Celebration of Life for Vicki Russell will be held at a later date.Read Obituary
