Timmy Ray Woodby

Timmy Ray Woodby, age 39 of 147 Mill Pond Road, Elizabethton passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010. A native of Carter County, he was a son of Frankie Johnson Woodby of the home and the late Dana Cecil Woodby. He was of the Baptist Faith.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by three brothers, Wesley Woodby, Dusty Woodby and Michael Woodby, all of Elizabethton, two sisters, Terisa Simerly, Elizabethton, Melissa Doyle, Unicoi, two step-brothers, Thomas Bowling, and Brandon Bowling, both of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.  The funeral service for Timmy Ray Woodby will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie McKinney officiating. The graveside service and interment will follow the funeral service in the Johnson Family Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Bowling, Mike Powell, T.J. Horton, Matthew Doyle, Loyd Myers and Ben Schrader. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Bowling, Bud Jones, Cory Doyle, Arnold Whitehead, Larry Wagner, Bob Bowling and Travis McKinney. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service or at other times at the residence.Read Obituary
