Teresa was a wonderful, kind, caring, funny, energetic friend. I had lost contact with her since my move to Knoxville many years ago. I still think about her and the good times we had. I will always miss her.

Ms. Teresa “T. J.” Jones, age 53, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Greene County, TN she was the daughter of the late Worley and Bertha Webb Jones. “T. J.” was a respiratory therapist at the V. A. Medical Center Hospital. She was a member of Range Community Christian Church. Survivors include four sisters, Burnis Munsey and husband David; Jean Munsey and husband Jack; Barbara Collins and husband Joe and Georganna Tweed and husband Wayne, all of Greeneville, TN; several nieces and nephews, Steven Munsey, Sharon Cook, Angela Johnson and Jeremy Collins; great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily Cook, Logan Cook, Morgan Munsey and Mitchell Munsey; an aunt, Mary Taylor of California and a special person in her life, Ryan Perkins. A host of many, many friends and her Pomeranian and Labrador dog companions, Rave and Sasha also survive. Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Teresa “T. J.” Jones will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 31, 2013 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Mr. Randy Overdorf, minister officiating. Special music will be provided by Tonya Milam. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday prior to the service. I worked with Teresa many years ago. She was a lovely person. I am sad to learn of her passing. She was always smiling............and a lovely person......

I just heard of T.J's passing. I am so sorry. She was a wonderful person and a great friend. She will be sadly missed. May we all find comfort in knowing she is in a better place and no longer in pain. I loved ya girl! Donna Lindsay
I will never forget the bond we shared! She was one of the best friends I've ever had...I am going to miss her so much, but I am thankful that I will see her again one day! Until then , I love you my dear friend!
I'm truly saddend to hear the news of TJ's passing :( I have some of my fondest childhood memories with her and my mother. Her and my mom Donna Muhlhahn are in heaven now looking down on us and smiling. They were the best of friends and I find comfort in knowing that they are in heaven watching over me. My deepest condolences to the family, and my prayers go out to all who loved her.
I went to Respiratory school with TJ and I have many fond memories of the good times we shared. It was always a pleasure to see her because she brought a smile to your face. She will be missed by her friends.
I worked with TJ for several yrs at the Va. She was always smiling , and she could always make you laugh.
