"View This Video Tribute" Mr. Steven “Stevie” Lynn Scalf, 35, 202 Belmont Street, Johnson City died Friday, February 18, 2011 at his residence. A native of Washington County, TN he was the son of the late Charles Wayne Scalf and Tresia Hensley Scalf, of the home. Mr. Scalf was of the Holiness faith.Survivors in addition to his mother include a brother, Jeffrey Scalf and wife Taina, Montrose, NY and two nieces, Kayla Scalf and Maria Scalf, both of Montrose, NY.Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.Funeral service for Mr. Steven “Stevie” Lynn Scalf will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 21, 2011 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Coontz officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Hammer Family. Interment will follow the funeral service in Scalf Cemetery, Watauga community. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends at the residence at any time.Those who prefer memorial in lieu of flowers, may make donations to the family to help with expenses.

I will always remember Stevie from back in the Lakewood days and up to just a couple of days ago when we communicated nad everything in between. I have many fond memories of him and wil always love and miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. You will always be remebered no matter how much time goes by. You were a real hero to people you grew up with and went to school with.
