Stephanie Renee Goodwin

Stephenia Renee Goodwin, age 53, of Johnson City, TN passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was the daughter of Stephen Goodwin and the late Pam Cardwell. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her aunts, Peggy, Patsy, Priscilla Hope, Pauline and Phyllis. Stephenia loved her family and her grand-pups, Geist and Diezel very much. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed doing anything that could challenge her mind. She loved to work puzzles and take care of others. Stephenia was of the Christian faith. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Pugh (Brianna); brother, Stephen Goodwin, Jr. “Bubba”; three aunts, Patricia Joy, Pauletta and Patty “Tyke”; grand-pups, Geist and Diezel and many cousins, family members and good friends also survive. A service to celebrate the life of Stephenia Renee Goodwin will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 6, 2023 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home. A eulogy will be given by Mr. Tim Greene and Mr. Jimmy Greene. The family will receive friends between the hours of 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM prior the service on Monday. The graveside service and interment will follow in the Roselawn Memory Gardens, Johnson City. Pallbearers will be selected by friends and family. Honorary pallbearers are Curtis Sims and Stephen Goodwin. The family would like to thank Dr. Hopland, Dr. Garcia and the staff at Johnson City Medical Center for all their loving care and support during this difficult time.
