in honor of Selma.

Mamaw, You have been on my mind a lot lately & even though I know you won’t see this, I wanted to say how much I miss you every day. Nine years later, there are still days I break down & cry. I still have a bottle of Avon perfume that you used to wear and I open it up and smell it when I miss you most. Just for a second, it feels like you are still with me. One day I’ll see you & Papaw again. I will always love & remember you both.
