Mr. Scott Lyons, age 41, of Johnson City, TN passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at his residence. A native of Johnson City, TN he was the son of Gary and Wanda Lyons of Johnson City, TN. He was employed in auto sales and repair and enjoyed working on and showing cars. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle, Terry Lyons. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Misty Bowman Lyons, of the home; a daughter, Autumn Lyons and a son, Noah Lyons, both of the home; a brother, Robbie Lyons and his wife Kristi, Johnson City, TN and nieces, Jordan Lyons and Britney Lyons. Several aunts and uncles also survive. Funeral service for Mr. Scott Lyons will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Brother Joel Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday prior to the funeral service. Committal and interment service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Lyons Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Lyons, Wayne Davis and Noah Lyons. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:50 A.M. on Thursday for the committal service.Read Obituary
