"View this Video Tribute" Mrs. Rosa Mae “Rose” Woodby, 95, 429 Bunker Hill Road, Bluff City went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 29, 2009 in Ivy Hall Nursing Home following an extended illness. A native of Blount County, TN she was a daughter of the late Albert and Maude Heath Stroud. Mrs. Woodby was a homemaker and she was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church.     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Woodby; two daughters, Delores Woodby and Sherry Woodby; a grandson, Matthew Woodby; five brothers and four sisters. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and John McKay, Elizabethton, Georgia and Don Hickman, Kingsport and Joan and George Ramey, Elizabethton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mike and Barbara Woodby, Gray and Larry Woodby and his fiancé Wanda Ibrahim, Elizabethton; twelve grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and four step-great-great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Jim Stroud, Elizabethtown, KY and a half-sister, Jean Warren, Alcoa, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.     Funeral service for Mrs. Rosa Mae “Rose” Woodby will be conducted at 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Mr. Ernie Depew, minister officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Singing Crawford’s.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday prior to the funeral service or at any of the families’ residence at other times.     Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in Lyons Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be the deacons of Bunker Hill Christian Church. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 AM Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
