Robert L. Milam, age 58 of Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center Hospital. He was a native of Huntington, WV. Mr. Milam was a son of Greetice Ellis Milam, Albuquerque, NM and the late Russell Lowell Milam. He was a carpenter and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. In addition to his father, Mr. Milam was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Hillyer and Richard Hillyer. Survivors include one brother, Frederick Milam, Palatka, FL and a sister, Gina Shann, Albuquerque, NM. Special friend, Naomi Dailey, Johnson City, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles also survive. The graveside service for Robert L. Milam will be conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, July 2, 2010 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Elder Flem A. Arrowood officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home on Friday, July 2, from 11 A.M until 1 P.M.Read Obituary
