Randy Keith Mermon, age 67, of Johnson City, TN went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at his residence. He was the son of the late Ralph and Wanda Mermon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Trent and a very special nephew, Larry “Lou” Trent. Randy retired after 26 years at Bolton Concrete. He worked for as long as his health allowed him to. He lit up any room that he was in. Randy was always laughing and joking with the people around him. He carried a smile and was a man full of love. He enjoyed riding Harleys and being outdoors; camping and hunting. He loved to eat and spend time with his family. Randy was of the Baptist faith. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Brandie Frazier and husband Chad, of Bristol; son, Travis Mermon, of Johnson City; sister, Charlene Whitaker, of Greeneville; grandson, Michael “Binks” Nelson and wife Kattie, of Johnson City; granddaughters, Alivia Mermon and Veronica Mermon, of Johnson City; special cousin, Timmy Edwards, of Knoxville; special aunt, Jan Bowery, of Bristol and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice for all their loving care and support during this difficult time. I have many old memories of Randy.
We rode trail bikes together. We fished and deer hunted together too. Seems like so long ago, am going to miss my ole friend.
