Peggy Louise Roberts

Peggy Louise Roberts, age 81, of Watauga, TN passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 in the Hillview Health Center following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Dixie Lee Barnett Wells. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed sewing and gardening. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Elizabethton Church of Christ.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, William G. Roberts and two brothers, Coy Wells and O’Dell Wells. Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Steven Roberts and wife Diane and Michael Roberts and wife Jan; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.A memorial service to honor the life of Peggy Louise Roberts will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, July 31, 2016 in the Elizabethton Church of Christ with Mr. Roby Ellis, minister officiating. The family will greet friends in the foyer of the Church one hour prior to the memorial service. Private inurnment service will be held at a later date.The family would like to express a special thank you to all the staff at Hillview Health Center and Caris Hospice who gave wonderful care to their mother.
