Mrs. Chambers retired as a custodian at Hampton High School and had previously been employed for 14 years, as a flagman for Summers-Taylor, Inc. She was a member of Sunrise Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, loved the outdoors, spending time with her family, and enjoyed her dogs: Mia, Toby and Molly. Survivors include her children, Janice Scalf, Tim Chambers and wife Brenda, Sue Ann Chambers and Heather Creed and husband Larry; her grandchildren, Jonathan Scalf, Joshua Scalf, Bethany Chambers, Olivia Chambers, Chelsea Beam, Talon Creed, and Knox Creed; one great grandchild, Meleah Scalf; and one brother, John Hilmon and his family.A service to honor the life of Mrs. Patricia Ann Chambers will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Johnny Vance, officiating. Music will be under the direction of Mr. Tim Hughes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from NOON until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. The graveside service will follow in the Captain Nelson Cemetery at Ripshin Mountain. Active pallbearers will be George Wayne Baker, Terry Hyder, Larry Creed, Tim Chambers, Josh Scalf, Jonathan Scalf, and Earl Chambers.
