Opal Fair Manning

Mrs. Opal Fair Manning, 91, Elizabethton, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Hillview Health Center, Elizabethton. A native of Sullivan County, TN she was the daughter of the late David and Bessie Royston Fair. Mrs. Manning was a member of East Side Baptist Church and she had been a volunteer at Sycamore Shoals Hospital serving for fourteen years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roscoe Russell; her second husband, James H. Manning and a brother, Jesse L. Fair. She is survived by seven step-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside service for Mrs. Opal Fair Manning will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 3, 2011 in the Highland Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Rhoton officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
