Mr. Nick Hill

Mr. Nick Hill, 86, of Roan Mountain, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born in Roan Mountain and was the son of the late Nick and Mandy Calhoun Hill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several siblings.Those left to cherish his memory include several nieces and nephews and his special friends, whom he considered as his family, the Steward and Georgia Whitehead family.The family will hold a graveside service for Mr. Hill will be conducted on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Steward-Whitehead Cemetery, 203 Tower Road, Roan Mountain with Rev. B.F. McKinney officiating. Music will be under the direction of Missy Hill. Those wishing to attend are invited to meet the family at the cemetery at 1:50 PM on Sunday.The family would like to express a genuine and heartfelt thank you to the staff of The Waters at Roan Highlands for the care, love and support given to Mr. Hill during his time there.Read Obituary
