Minnie Lee Jones Wright

Minnie Lee Jones Wright, 82, of Elizabethton died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness.  A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Cindy Slagle Jones.  She was a homemaker and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Jones and a sister, June Jones.  Survivors include a nephew, Allan Jones, Elizabethton and a sister, Audrey Fulwiler, Elizabethton.  Several other nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral service for Minnie Lee Jones Wright will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, December 31, 2010 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Mr. Bret Jones, minister officiating.  Interment will follow the funeral service in New Slagle Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Friday prior to the funeral service.Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the American Stroke Association, Living Legacy Partnership, 1101 North Chase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA  30067.Read Obituary
