Mr. Michael Q. Nave, age 57, of Elizabethton, TN passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, he was the son of Albert Nave, Elizabethton and Virginia Hamilton, Elizabethton. Mr. Nave had worked for the TN Department of Transportation. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.Mr. Nave was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lee Nave and two brothers, Jeffrey Nave and Steven Nave. Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents include, his wife, Annetta Nave, of the home; a daughter Laura Nave, of Florida and a sister, Robin Markland, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.The family of Mr. Michael Q. Nave will hold a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tapp officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Thursday prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers will be all of his friends.Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.

I remember one time the youth went on a trip to an amusement park and he won a stuffed animal and sent it home with us for our baby girl. Very sweet and kind person. God bless you all.
