Melvin "Mel-Man" Miller

Mr. Melvin “Mel-Man” Miller, age 59, of Elizabethton passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at his residence following a brief illness. A native of Goshen, IN he was the son of Ida Bontrager Miller, Indiana and the late Lester Miller. Mr. Miller was a fork truck driver and he was of the Christian faith. Survivors in addition to his mother, include two sons, Heath Hamlin, Coldwater, MI and Melvin Miller Jr., Elizabethton; four grandchildren, Madison Hamlin, Seth Hamlin, Sophia Hamlin and Laska Miller; four brothers, Samuel Miller, Amos Miller, Albert Miller and Leroy Miller; a sister, Lucy Miller and his companion, Lisa Slagle, of the home. Funeral service for Mr. Melvin “Mel-Man” Miller will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, September 8, 2012 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30 – 6:00 P.M. on Saturday prior to the funeral service or at the residence at other times.Read Obituary
