Ricki, Jeff, Kala and Jordan,
my thoughts and prayers are with you as you travel through this time until someday you will all be together again. A very special lady to a very special family.
Sorry about your loss remembering you all in our prayers I remember Mary when I was married to your cousin Larry Bradley and we use to come visit. She has sent me a Christmas card every year also. She was a wonderful lady. Evelyn Stephens
Grannaw Mary, as our kids call her, is the Godliest woman i have ever known. She not only was the best mother-in-law but a wonderful grandmother to our children. I had the privilege of knowing her for 34 years. In those years we never said an unkind word to one another; she taught me the true meaning of courage, loved me for me, and encouraged me no matter what. She showed courage and trust in God all of her life to Jeffrey, Kala, Jordan, and me. However, the last 3 months, I have never witnessed such courage as I watched, stayed, nursed, and loved Mary through what I knew was a difficult and painful time for her. She never once complained and was always thanking me and telling me she loved me. My mother told me that I could not tell her in a better way that I loved her as I was caring for her needs. As I reflect back on the last three months, as well as the last 34 years, I will always remember the special times we shared, the things she said to me and the example she set for me, Kala, Jordan, and especially Jeff. She made Jeffrey what he is and influenced me in many ways.Mary I love you!! "Thank you", just seems like mere words but there are no words to describe you and how very very special you were and will always be to us and to all you touched over the last 82 1/2 years. Goodbye for now only, until we meet again sweet lady!! I love you!!
Ricki
