Mary Evelyn Blevins, age 61, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Coolidge and Geraldine Wright Rasnick. She was a homemaker and she was of the Freewill Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Smith and Donna Williams and a brother, Mitchell Rasnick. Survivors include a niece, Jo Ann Roberson, Watauga, TN; a son, Jack Blevins, Elizabethton; a brother, Johnny Rasnick, Elizabethton and three grandchildren. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service to honor the life of Mary Evelyn Blevins will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Earnest Garland officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday prior to the service. Private disposition will be held at a later date.Read Obituary

I am sorry to hear of Mary's passing. We had so many good memorys of church and just being friends all three of the sisters has passed and I feel blessed to have know them.
God has a family of sweet sisters there with my sister and her family. Thank you Jesus for you blessings.

my aunt Mary is at peace she was one of a kind you either loved her or hated her we walked a lot of long hard paths together there was heartache and so many smiles and laughs this women help raise me and Kim , Jaime, Misty there wasn't a time that i ever felt no loved by her she always smile when i walked in a room even over this last hard year she always let me know that she loved me with than smile of hers and it was my honor to take care of her and she let me know to the very end that i was loved because she smile and and i knew she was at peace i loved this lady and i will always love this lady love Jo Ann
