Marjorie Geraldine "Gerri" Knight

Marjorie Geraldine “Gerri” Knight, age 77, of Elizabethton, Tennessee, but had spent most of her adult life in King, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton. Gerri was born in Elizabethton on April 9, 1945 a daughter of the late Arlie and Naomi O’Quinn Webb. In addition to her parents, Gerri was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Webb and Wayman Webb.Gerri retired as a bookkeeper and was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She loved her family, flowers, animals, mountains and enjoyed nature.Those left to cherish Gerri’s memory include her son, Darrell Knight of Ohio; a sister, Linda Harris of Elizabethton; a special sister-in-law, Susie Brown of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.It was Gerri’s request to be cremated and no services are currently scheduled.In lieu of flowers and donations, please hug a loved one and let them know you love them.Words of love and comfort may be shared with the Knight family on our website, www.hathawaypercy.com.
