Margie L. Cash

Mrs. Margie L. Cash, 169 Max Jett Road, Johnson City went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Life Care Center of Elizabethton following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Cordie Freeman Holder. Mrs. Cash retired from Dossiers in Johnson City and she was of the Baptist faith.            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Dean Cash, three sisters and one brother. Survivors include two sisters, Gladys Holder, of the home and Imogene Hughes, Watauga. Several nieces and nephews also survive.            Graveside service for Mrs. Margie L. Cash will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 29, 2010 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Shelton Lewis officiating. Music will be under the direction of Linda Lyons. Active pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews. Family and friends who would like to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 P.M. on Friday.            Memorials in lieu of flowers to those who desire may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Northeast Tennessee Chapter, 207 North Boone Street, Suite 1500, Johnson City, TN 37604.Read Obituary
