The best mother God ever created was Margie A. Whisner Cover. She was a joy to all who were privileged to know her. She was cheerful, friendly and hospitable, always putting others first. She had a love for helping others and trying to make the lives of each one she met a little easier. She never complained and was optimistic in every situation. She had great knowledge and wisdom. Friends and relatives valued her encouragement and advice. She had a great love for God and His word, and she sought to serve the Lord with her whole heart. She had a very special and loving relationship with her husband Paul for 56 years. During Paul’s 30 years of military service in the U.S. Navy, she thoroughly enjoyed traveling and touring in the United States, Western Europe, The British Isles, Turkey, the Holy Land and Russia. Her special joy while living in London was being a member of Westminster Chapel under the ministry of Dr. D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones. Mrs. Cover was a graduate from Milligan College with a double major in Chemistry and Biology. After graduation Mrs. Cover was employed as a chemist for Bemberg. Her love for the Lord led her to Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY where she earned a master in Religious Education.
