Margaret Blevins

Margaret Blevins, age 78, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Elizabethton, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henry Sims and Ruby Storie Sims. Mrs. Blevins had been employed by Snap On Tools. She enjoyed cooking and quilting.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Gene Blevins; a son, Ricky Blevins and a daughter, Shelly Blevins. Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Beverly “Jody” Saunders and husband Steve, Charlotte, NC; four granddaughters, Summer Blevins, Jessica Blevins, Lorrie Barker and Rebecca Saunders and three great-grandchildren, Isaiah Blevins, Quinn Williams and Summiya Williams and an adopted grandson, Wayne.A memorial service to honor the life of Margaret Blevins will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 27, 2019 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services. The family would like to give anyone who wishes an opportunity to speak at the memorial service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. on Sunday prior to the service or at the residence at any time.A special thank you is given by the family to the doctors and nurses at the Johnson City Medical Center and Sycamore Shoals Hospital and to the Medical Center Hospice for their care to Mrs. Blevins.Read Obituary
