Brenda, Bobbie and Tootie, (and family)
Please know that my hearfelt sympathy is extended to all of you. I have very fond memories of Mamie - especially staying a few summers with her. She always had something special for us to do. I remember when they had a contest on the radio and you had to search for money "your key to happiness $1,000.00". We searched all summer and finally found a "treasure" in the Elizabethton Airport field. Someone had tricked us, but she thought it was real until we got home. I remember her picking up the note and saying, "Get in the car youngins!" We thought we were rich!
May God wrap His loving arms around you and comfort you. Moms and Dads are just so precious and I know she is in heaven with my Mom and Dad (Betty and Luther). She always got on Dad, especially when we stayed at her house as our "headquarters" when we came in for the summers. I remember her saying, "Alright, now Luther....." and laughing. Hugs and kisses to you all. May God bless each and every one of you.
