Loretta Evelyn Range

Loretta Range, age 82, of Lubbock, Texas passed away Friday, March 18, 2022. Loretta was born November 29, 1939 in Elizabethton, Tennessee to the late Willard and Eva Gouge. She graduated from Elizabethton High School in 1958. Loretta married David Ernest Range on July 9, 1959. As an Air Force wife, she first moved to London, England where she had her first born son, David Glenn Range. Her family lived in several different states including Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Nebraska, Texas, Tennessee and Washington State. After David's retirement from the Air Force, they made their final home Lubbock, Texas. Loretta was involved in Banking with First National Bank, Norwest, Wells Fargo and First United Bank, retiring in 2008. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David Range. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, David G. Range; relatives and many friends. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Loretta Range will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Reverend Dennis Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. prior to the service on Saturday. The committal and entombment service will follow in procession to the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park, Johnson City. Pallbearers will be selected by family and friends.
