"View this Video Memorial Tribute" Mr. Lloyd William Presnell, 71, 310A Magnolia Street, Elizabethton passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009 in Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness.  He is now shouting down the Streets of Glory.  A native of Carter County, TN he was the son of the late John Henry and Bertha Harrison Presnell.  Mr. Presnell was a dairy farmer and he was a member of the Church of God.     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jack Presnell; a daughter, Misty Dawn Presnell; three brothers, Alden Presnell, Richard Presnell and David Presnell and a sister, Hazel Berry.  Survivors include his wife, Patsy Tinkle Presnell, of the home; two daughters, Kristi Henley and her husband John, Elizabethton and Carolyn Bowman and her husband Jimmy, Johnson City; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; seven brothers, Rev. Dean Presnell, Elizabethton, Rev. Mack Presnell, Johnson City, Michael Presnell, Johnson City, Harold Presnell, Hampton, Ancel Presnell, Sulpher Springs, Gene Presnell, Gray and Steve Presnell, Gray; four sisters, Margaret Akers, Johnson City, Elwanda Carver, Johnson City, Mary Gregg, Fall Branch and Vanessa Luttrell, Gray; special cousin, Billy Presnell, Johnson City and special friend, Hilda Carr Perry, West Virginia.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.     Funeral service for Mr. Lloyd William Presnell will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Presnell, Rev. Mack Presnell, Rev. Eddie Childress and Rev. Doug Ranshaw officiating.  Music will be under the direction of Michael Presnell and Rev. Mack Presnell.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Tuesday prior to the service or at the residence of a daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and John Henley, 709 N. Roan Street, Elizabethton at other times.       Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in Markland Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.  Honorary pallbearers will be Edwin Tinkle, Bill James and Thomas Pearce.  The family wishes to express a special thank you to Victoria, Gwyn, Dottie, Misty, Barbara, Amedisys Home Health, third floor nurses, Marnie and Kim and the Carter County Rescue Squad.  Family and friends will meet at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
