Lawrence Edward Kennon

Lawrence Edward Kennon, age 60, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born in Dayton, OH to the late Richard Kennon and Helen Mary Funder Kennon. He was a truck driver for H & H Trucking. Lawrence enjoyed watching racing, fishing and spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was loved by everyone and will be missed dearly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Julie Ann Kennon and brother, Joseph Richard Kennon. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Aletta M. Kennon, of the home; son, Richard Carter Kennon, of the home; four daughters, Jaime Kennon, of Charlotte, NC, Autumn M. Marley and Katelyn M. Queen, of Elizabethton, TN and Autumn N. Queen, of Johnson City, TN; three grandchildren, Phoenix Tipton, Liam Marley and Jai Ana Hillard and brother, Mark Kennon, of FL; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.A service to celebrate the life of Lawrence Edward Kennon will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home.
