Mr. Larry Wagner, age 62, a loving husband and papaw of Hampton, TN passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness. A life-long resident of Carter County, TN he was the son of the late Ambrose and Daisy Greenwell Wagner. Mr. Wagner had worked at Snap-On-Tools for over twenty-five years.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Babb and a sister, Kathy Mitchell. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Grace Wagner, of the home; a granddaughter, Mindy Brown; a grandson, Rev. Jon Babb; great-grandchildren, Jackson Brown and Weston Brown; brothers, Ronnie Rehart, Doug Wagner and wife Mary, Ambrose “Slick” Wagner and wife Debbie and Jimmy Wagner; sisters, Nancy Guinn and Barbara Rehart and special relatives, Eddie “Goober” Mitchell; Christy, Logan and Cody Sigman. Several extended family members also survive.A service to honor the life of Mr. Larry Wagner will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, June 11, 2017 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Randy Johnson and Rev. Mark Potter officiating. Eulogy will be provided by Mindy Brown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:30 P.M. on Sunday prior to the funeral service or are welcome at the home at any time. Interment will follow the funeral service in Johnson-Roanview Cemetery, Roan Mountain. Active pallbearers will be Eddie “Goober” Mitchell, Logan Sigman, Cody Sigman, Brandon Brown, Rev. Jon Babb and Gordon Mitchell.
