Dear Mark, Lori, and family, We were so sorry to hear of Mark'smother's death.  Death is never easy, but we can find comfort in knowing that God is always with us to carry us through these times.  There is great comfort in reading daily a Scripture in Psalm 34:15: "The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry."  The Apostle Peter quotes the same verse in the NT and changes the word cry to "prayer."  I Peter 3:12  May the love of Christ feel the emptiness and heal the ache in your hearts.  We send our love and sympathy.##imported-begin##Kathleen Taylor & Bea Smith##imported-end##

I was saddened to learn of Mrs. Evans' passing.  I had the enormous pleasure of being in her English class during the one semester she taught at Hampton High School (1959).  I will never forget her for the way she helped me in my adjustment to high school study.  My sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies to the family of Mrs. Evans.  I pray that the Good Lord will grant you peace during this most difficult time.##imported-begin##Len Whitehed##imported-end##

I will always treasure my memories of "Aunt" Kathleen -- as my favorite teacher and later as my friend.  There are few people in this world that make such a strong, lasting impression on young people, but she was indeed one in a million. To Jane, Deborah, and Mark - you and your families are in my prayers.##imported-begin##Sandy Keller##imported-end##

I was so sad to hear of Mrs. Evans passing.  My recollection of Mrs. Evans from First Christian Church, where I grew up, was that she was a fine Christian mother, who was always friendly, happy, loved children, and raised a fine Christian family.  I remember her as a fun Sunday School teacher, who was always accessible to the children of the Church.Mark was a classmate of mine, and he not only very smart, but was always respectful and friendly. Mrs. Evans was one of the persons who, I believe, had a positive impact on my young development and life, helping me to be the person I am today.  I thank God for having been a small part of her life, and wish the family my condolences on passing.##imported-begin##Wanda Smith##imported-end##
