Juanita Pansock, age 94, of Elizabethton, TN passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was the seventh child of twelve of the late Fred and Susan Holsclaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Pansock; brothers, Charlie Holsclaw, Claude Holsclaw, John Holsclaw and Willie Holsclaw; sisters, Ola Campbell, Pauline Shell, Betty Maupin, Maxine Gagliano and Martha Forbes. Juanita was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Due to her declining health she enjoyed watching Dr. David Jeremiah and Dr. Charles Stanley ministries on television. She was recently named the Queen of Black Bottom and was known for her sharp wit and ability to make people laugh. Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Susie Johns and Ralph Estep, Anne Pansock and Dean Letterman and Teresa Robinson and husband Randall; sons, Michael Pansock and wife Anita and John “Bo” Pansock and Carmella Price; grandchildren, Janey White and husband Ryan, Kadey Pratt and husband Dylan, Michael Robinson, Travis Johns and wife Moe, Christy Manilla and husband Andy, Jessi Jones and husband Jake, Taylor Gaby and husband Tyler, Lauren Pansock and Abby Pansock; great-grandchildren, Jett Pratt, Bella Pansock, Amelia Jones, Maddy Gaby, Emily Manilla, Lena Schulze; siblings, Barbara Milsaps and Arthur Holsclaw and wife Jennie and several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Billy Murphy, Minister officiating. Music will be under the direction of Seth Thomas and Eulogy given by Travis Johns. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 PM on Saturday. The family would like to give thanks to a special nephew, Eddie Holsclaw; adopted daughter, Carmella Price; special friends, Pat Deloach, Danny and Annie McQueen and wonderful friends and neighbors for all their loving care and support during this difficult time. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Shriner Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1525, Ranson, WV 25438 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
