Mr. John George Schwind, III, age 58, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of 18 years having served in Beirut and Central America. A graveside service to honor his life will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. Doug Hinshaw officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Carter County Honor Guard.Read Obituary
