Bob Kacmar,

I'll always remember Uncle Joe playing baseball with all of the kids at Granny and Grandpa Bailey's house in Erwin, TN. We always looked forward to it when we visited from Pennsylvania. He will be missed by all.

Joe was my 2nd cousin. In years past he would come to my grandfather's house, Jim Cables, his uncle, and make music with his brothers. We looked forward to their visits. We all had a good time. I would run into Joe at the grocery store from time to time and we would stand and talk seemed like for hours. Joe was a good man and will be sorely missed by all his family and friends. I pray that his children will find comfort in thier memories of him.

Scott Greene

My name is Scott Greene. I'm a minister living in gastonia, North Carolina. I played baseball under Mr. Cable during the 1970's. My dad (ray greene) was an assistant coach for Mr. Cable. Along with my dad, Mr. Cable was a huge reason why I loved baseball. My first couple of years in pee-wee's were very hard on Mr. Cable. Because I wasn't very good, Mr. Cable could have given up on me. He stuck with me however and showed my how to play and love baseball. I played on the same teams with Dallas and Ray Cable. I have great memories when I think of those years in my life. I just want to say to the family that your DAD meant so much to me. It is just hard to put into words the emotion that I'm feeling right now. I'm glad to hear that Mr. Kyker is preaching the message. He will do a super job tonight. I pray each and everyone of the family know JESUS as your personal LORD and SAVIOUR.
