Joann Hill

Joann Hill, age 47, Bear Cage Road, Roan Mountain, TN went to be with her Lord Thursday, February 28, 2013 following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of Elmer C. and Edna Street Hill, Roan Mountain. Joann was a former employee of EZ Paintr and Snap-On Tools. She was a member of Little Mountain Freewill Baptist Church. She had a true love for animals. In addition to her parents, survivors include three brothers, Ronnie Hill, Elizabethton; Randy Hill and Joe Hill and his fiancé Anna Huff, all of Roan Mountain and a special cousin, Cindy Perkins, Roan Mountain. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Graveside service for Joann Hill will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Largent Cemetery with Rev. Jude Hughes and Rev. Harold Campbell officiating. Active pallbearers will be Larry Street, Frank Johnson, Tony Street, Tyler Street, Randy Miller and David Street. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 1:50 P.M. on Sunday for the service. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Carter County Humane Society, P. O.
