Jeff William Kyte, age 85, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was the son of the late Edward and Edyth Shell Kyte. He was a 60+ year mason, a four time pastmaster and Shriner. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, family, friends and masonic brothers. A service to celebrate the life of Jeff William Kyte will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2022 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends between the hours of 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers make donations to Carter County Animal Shelter, P O Box 134, Elizabethton, TN 37644. Wor. Kyte raised me to a Master Mason in Clover Hill lodge. I will never forget trying to return my obligation with Jeff ‘s southern accent.
Jeff and his wife did so much for the lodge over the years and he will never be forgotten.
