Mrs. Janice A. Carr, 56, 713 Walnut Grove Road, Bluff City died suddenly Monday, May 4, 2009 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Rufus B. and Mary Ethel Watson Jenkins. Mrs. Carr was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church.          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Davis and Greg Davis and one sister, Faye Watson Townsend. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Carr, of the home; a daughter, Tabitha Carr, of the home; two sons, Steven Dale Hollingshead and his wife Carol and Ralph Roger “Pete” Hollingshead, all of Bluff City; eight grandchildren; six brothers, Tom Davis, James Davis, Mike Davis, Allen Buchanan, Nathan Whitehead and Phillip Davis and two sisters, Tammy Whitehead and Lois Rambo. Several nieces and nephews also survive.          Funeral service for Mrs. Janice A. Carr will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, 2009 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Mr. Rocky Maines, minister officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Friday prior to the funeral service or at the residence, 713 Walnut Grove Road, Bluff City at other times. Interment will follow the funeral service in Sunrise Cemetery, Bluff City. Active pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearer will be Roger Davis, Jr.
