Helen C. Irick

Helen C. Irick, age 91, of Elizabethton died Sunday, February 5, 2012 in the Pine Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas T. and Mary A. Wagner Irick. Ms. Irick was a teacher with the Carter County School System and later retired from Tri-State Container. She was a member of West Side Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Irick and a sister, Ruth Daly. Survivors include a sister, Hazel Clemons and husband Roger, Elizabethton and several nieces and nephews. It was Ms. Irick’s request that no services were conducted and private burial was held at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
