Hazel M. Ledford Brummitt Glover, age 74 of Johnson City, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. A native of Washington County, she was a daughter of the late Nevell and Cora Pate Ledford.  She was a homemaker and of the Holiness Faith. Mrs. Glover loved reading her bible and listening to gospel music. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Paul K. Brummitt, two brothers, Jimmy Ledford and Junior Ledford, and a sister, Dorothy Draper.            Survivors include her husband, Gene Glover, Johnson City, five sons, Melvin Brummitt and wife Teresa, Elizabethton, David Brummitt and wife Kim, Piney Flats, Kenny Brummitt and wife Ellen, Johnson City, Daniel Brummitt and wife Felicia, Oak Ridge, and Junior Brummitt of the home; five daughters, Teresa Baker, Johnson City, Rena Bray and husband Darrell, Elizabethton, Donna Collins and husband Nathaniel, Johnson City, Linda Williams, Elizabethton and Dorothy Collins, Johnson City; one step-son, Jason Glover, Johnson City. Sixteen grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Lilly Mae Sells, Jonesborough, Emily Miller, Johnson City and one brother, Roger Ledford, Johnson City also survive.            The funeral service for Hazel M. Ledford Brummitt Glover will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 27, 2011 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Dr. Jody Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from Noon and until 1:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service in Lyons Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be James Brummitt, Jonathan Brummitt, Blake Brummitt, Brian Brummitt, Randy Brummitt, Keith Brummitt and David Brummitt.              The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in care of David A. Brummitt, 107 Holston Mountain Road, Elizabethton, TN 37643 to help defray funeral expenses.
