Fuzz was a dear friend, fierce competitor, and valiant teammate. For sixty-three years he was a valued part of my life. Our high school football games, our heated golf matches, and, most importantly, our later sessions with that select group from the ancient past will always be a source of pleasure and inspiration to me.

As long as I live, so shall Fuzz

I wish that I could once again join Fuzz on his boat on Watauga Lake. I will always treasure the good conversations that we had and the funny emials that he sent to me while I was serving overseas.
