Geraldine Powell Landingham

Geraldine Powell Landingham, age 74, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Dorsey Earl and Mary Townsend Powell. She was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Preston Hampton, a great-grandchild, Abby Jennings and a sister, Floreen Elliott. Survivors include three daughters, April Hampton and husband Jerry, Vicky Landingham and Amber Gouge; a son, Franklin Landingham and wife Teresa; grandchildren, McKenzie Hampton, A. B. Carr, Christina Carr, Josh Myers, Chelsey Landingham, Adam Potter, Morgan Oliver and Dakota Mullins; a brother, Ronnie Powell and sisters, Faye Elliott, Margie Guinn and Janette Seay. Several nieces and nephews also survive.A service to honor the life of Geraldine Powell Landingham will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Missionary Joseph Alvarado officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Saturday prior to the funeral service or at the residence at any time. Graveside service and interment will follow the funeral service on Saturday in the Emmert Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Hampton, Dale Landingham, Dakota Mullins, Jody Peterson, Jessie Bowers and Jeremiah Bowden.Read Obituary
