George Arnold Tuttle

George Arnold Tuttle, age 87, of Elizabethton, TN formerly of Wilton, NH a loving husband and father, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN. He was the son of the late Ralph Augustine and Rachel Hills Tuttle. Mr. Tuttle served in the U.S. Navy for twenty-four years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He served in World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Following his Navy career, he retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Tuttle was a master mason and enjoyed camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger W. Tuttle and two sisters, Phyllis Mae Jefferson and Janet Dumias. Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Lucy Shui-Yuen Tuttle, Elizabethton, TN; a daughter, Diane Melody Jones, Florida; a son, David Arnold Tuttle and wife Carolyn, Mississippi and a brother-in-law, James Jefferson, Johnson City, TN. Nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive. Private disposition for Mr. George Arnold Tuttle will be held at a later date.Read Obituary
