Geneva Carter Treadway

Geneva Carter Treadway, age 94, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 8, 2016. She was born on March 2, 1922 in Washington County, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Treadway and her brother, Robert “Bob” Carter. Those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Audrey Carter Rogers of Hanahan, SC and Frances Carter Byrd of Spring Lake, NC; nieces and nephews, Melissa McCormick Overton, Janice Byrd Quigley, Dr. S. Kim Rogers, Randall C. Rogers, Mark Rogers, Sherry Carter Glisson, Michael Carter and David Carter; her loving family members and nieces in Tennessee include, Charlotte Dugger, Janene Allen, Linda Felton, Patti Treadway, Pat Treadway, Merri Trott; and Yvonne Hillis of Ohio. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 12 Noon on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Hathaway Percy Funeral and Cremation Services. The graveside service will follow the visitation at the Patton-Simmons Cemetery, Johnson City.
