Florence Elizabeth Spradling Parlier

Florence Elizabeth Spradling Parlier, age 59, of Roan Mountain, TN passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at her residence. A native of Monroe County, TN she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie Lucille Lakey Spradling. Florence worked in the dietary department at Ivy Hall Nursing Home and she was a member of Sunset Freewill Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and working in her flowers.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Coy Parlier and a brother, Pryor Eugene Spradling. Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Pamela Holtsclaw and husband Robbie; grandchildren, Alex Parlier, Tiffany Parlier and Candace Parlier and siblings, Mary Lockamy, Luther Spradling, Mae Kerley, James Spradling, Annie Keller, Clifford Spradling, Dorothy Parlier, Joyce Good and Roger Spradling.A service to honor the life of Florence Elizabeth Spradling Parlier will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 28, 2019 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Phillip Coffey and Rev. Terry Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. on Saturday prior to the funeral service or at the residence at any time.Graveside service and interment will follow the funeral service on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in the Largent Cemetery, Roan Mountain, TN.
