Eleanor W. Clark

Mrs. Eleanor W. Clark, age 69, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Pine Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Susie Hopson Whitehead. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and she was a member of Hopson Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Clark, Sr.; two sisters, Dorothy Whitehead and Lillian Estep and six brothers, Tommy Whitehead, Floyd Whitehead, Ralph Whitehead, Clyde Whitehead, Junior Whitehead and Paul Blevins. Survivors include her son, Paul J. Clark, Jr., Elizabethton and three sisters, Mary McNeal, Anna Belle Walker and Betty Davis, all of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service for Mrs. Eleanor W. Clark will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 17, 2013 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Ray Amos and Rev. Richard Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from Noon until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow the funeral service in Captain Nelson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.Read Obituary
