Edith “Betty” Ralph, age 76, of Elizabethton, TN a loving wife and sister went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at her residence. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Waitsel and Emma Cox Febuary. She was a homemaker and had a very giving and loving heart. “Betty” was a member of Slagle Methodist Church. She was very family oriented and enjoyed working with her church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Thomas Lee Ralph and six siblings. Survivors include a brother, John L. Febuary, Hayes, VA; one son; good friend and longtime companion, Jeff Crowe, Elizabethton; good friend, Sheila Taylor Hartley, Elizabethton and several nieces and nephews.A service to honor the life of Edith “Betty” Ralph will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2019 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor James Michael Berry officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Monday prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service on Monday in the George Mottern Cemetery. We will miss Betty, she was my mom's best friend. As many of u know Mom was buried last Saturday, not knowing she would be seeing Betty in heaven so soon, I know they are going out to lunch once again. My condolences to the family . Lynda Hilton

Edith "Betty" was my cousin from Tennessee and I will miss her even though we have not shared family things for so many years, but will always remember her Mom and Dad because they were my Great Uncle and Great Aunt and I truly loved them. They all lived in the Old Febuary land near where the original Febuary house was located that my Great Grandfather lived in so many years ago and I visited that home and Cousin Betty's Home too the last time we were in Tennessee. I remember as a little girl going to visit her and family , she was a sweet and loveing aunt, Love you Aunt Betty ! God got another good lady ❤️
I spent many days at her house growing up. She made the best carrot cake I ever ate. I will miss talking to her on the phone and going out to lunch when I come home. I will miss you Aunt Betty.
