"View This Video Tribute"Donna Marie Lester Williams, 60, 109 Hurley Hollow Road, Elizabethton went to be with her Lord following an extended illness Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at her residence. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Geraldine Wright Rasnick. Mrs. Williams attended Stoney Creek Baptist Church and previously attended Moores Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Henry Williams; a sister, Diana Lee Smith and a brother, Guy Mitchell Rasnick. Survivors include her fiance, Steve Freeman, of the home; three daughters, Kimberly Jane Carr, Johnson City; Jamie Michelle Freeman and husband Roger, Elizabethton and April Hodge and husband Tim, Johnson City; grandchildren, Hailey Michelle Carr and Calvin Tyler Carr; foster grandchildren, Haven, Christian and Toni; brother, John D. Rasnick, Johnson City; sister, Mary Evelyn Blevins, Elizabethton; the father of her children, Haskel Carr, Jr., Elizabethton and a special friend, Beverly House, Elizabethton. Many nieces, nephews and her faithful companions, three dogs; Shiloh, Peyton and Punky also survive. Funeral service for Donna Marie Lester Williams will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, December 10, 2010 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Estep and Rev. Willie Campbell officiating. Eulogy will be given by Christine Freeman. Music will be under the direction of Ronnie Dean Blevins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Friday prior to the service or at the residence, 109 Hurley Hollow Road, Elizabethton at other times.Graveside service and interment will follow the funeral service on Friday in the Garland Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Chris Rasnick, Scotty Rasnick, David Smith, Danny Nidiffer, Dennis Rasnick and Gerald Nidiffer. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Hazen Street, Robert Wright and Glenn Wright.Read Obituary
